Midland Air Service Experts was excited to participate in the Midlands Ride for Kids a few weeks ago. This marks the second year that Midland Air has raised money for this incredible event that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit funding research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial support for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has collected over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her father’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids every year.
“My dad’s motorcycle group participates every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for a great cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The generous motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t exactly a motorcycle group. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and participating in wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To discover more about how you can get involved and help the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, visit their site.
